Casona de los Sapos Hotel Boutique

It’s a stunning boutique hotel, with so much charm and elegance. Our bed was comfortable and bathroom was recently renovated. Plenty of closet space for two. Breakfast (not included) was really good, and the dinner also. I highly recommend the mushroom soup! My husband took advantage of the pool. I had a wonderful massage. It’s a fairly quiet location: just 3-4 blocks from the Zocalo, and right next to a park where an outdoor flea market sets up on Saturday and Sunday, which we loved. You’re also just a block away from the Los Sapos shopping area and park. Would definitely return.

Perfect location to stay the heart of Puebla. Pictures don't do the property justice. Well maintained, and the rooms were large with extra large beds. Good breakfast options. Concierge was super helpful with tips and any other requests.

The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location. You can walk to many great place to eat, visit (the Cathedral is less than 10 minutes from the hotel), and if you are feeling adventurous, you can walk even further to museums that are about 30 minutes away on foot. Outside the hotel there is an antique market that was open every day. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. We had to change rooms because there was a room full of kids above us who were jumping off the bed onto the floor throughout the night (good for them!) and the staff was gracious about the change. The whole visit was like that - professional, friendly, easy. If you go to Puebla, this is the place to stay.

Breakfast selection was appealing and delicious. I loved starting off my morning with a cup of Ginger and Chamomile tea. Also, the fruit platter was always so flavorful. At times, I would venture off my favorites and order the chilaquiles. Every bite filled with unknown flavors, but well thought discoveries.

bell desk staff was great, restaurant staff was amazing, room was always clean and the room size was nice. linens were good, bed quality was great. access to everything we wanted to see and do was perfect!
